Smart Cast, innovation prize of the national competition for the creation of a sustainable construction company

The prizes of the 5th National Competition for the creation of a sustainable construction company, created and organized by the Technopole Domolandes, which distinguish innovative start-ups, were presented on Tuesday, June 7th, at the Royal Pavilion, in Paris, in front of a large audience , on the occasion of the 10th Meeting of the energy performance (RPE).

The Innovation Award, a promising initiative in the field of sustainable construction, was awarded to Smart Cast for an innovative technological solution to industrialize the manufacturing of concrete floors in the form of lost formwork plates that serve as finished coating ready to paint ceilings. The company, founded in the summer of 2015, is located in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).

Alain Maugard, president of Qualibat, the jury member of the competition, who presented the award, praised, "a process innovation matured by the experience of the yard, which will allow productivity and quality gains, and that the advent BIM will make it even more relevant. " Augustin Masurel, a young engineer (28), founder of the company, who started at Bouygues, said that "Smart Cast can benefit from the data contained in the digital model, which will be one of the technological turning points of the next ten years . "
